Hello!
My name is Amanda and I am local to Monroe. I’ve been married to my husband, Matt, for 18 years and we have 7 incredible children. As a family, we love to camp, hike, and spend most of our time outside with friends and family.
I have always had a passion for serving my community, which led me to pursue a degree in Social Work. I graduated magna cum laude from Georgia State University in 2012 and spent several years supporting individuals and families in that field.
Over the past several years, I have developed a deep passion for birth work. After the empowering home births of my last two children, I felt a deep desire to help other families experience the beauty, strength, and support that birth can offer.
In January 2022, I began my midwifery journey at Midwives College of Utah, where I am pursuing my Bachelor’s in Midwifery. Alongside my coursework, I have been apprenticing with a Certified Professional Midwife since May 2023, gaining hands-on experience with out-of-hospital birth care.
I am expected to graduate in April and currently accepting clients with due dates in August 2026 or later. My mission is to walk alongside families with safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care, supporting their autonomy and helping them make informed choices that feel right for them.
I can’t wait to serve you and be part of your story.
