Hi friends,

I’m Amber, a birth and postpartum doula based in Athens, Georgia, serving families throughout Northeast and Middle Georgia, including rural communities. My calling is to walk alongside women during the labor, birth, and postpartum seasons, times that I believe deserve gentleness, grace, and intentional support.

As a birth doula, I emphasize the importance of holding space for mothers as they bring their children into the world. I value my role as an advocate and liaison for the birthing family, ensuring that birth preferences are heard, honored, and respected. I offer physical, emotional, and informational support, meeting families where they are and supporting them in the ways they need most.

As a postpartum doula, I believe rest is one of the most essential (and often overlooked) parts of healing and adjusting to motherhood. My goal is to help make rest possible by tending to the practical and emotional needs that are often unseen. This may include assistance with household tasks, baby care, or simply offering a listening ear during this tender transition.

What makes my approach unique is my background and training as a mental health counselor. Alongside hands-on care, I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space for mothers to process their emotions, whether that includes feelings of joy, overwhelm, or anything in between. Most importantly, my philosophy of birthwork is rooted in my Christian faith and guided by the Holy Spirit.

My heart is to help you feel seen, supported, and strengthened as you step into this new chapter. It is truly an honor and privilege to be a part of a family’s birth story, and I cherish every moment shared with those I serve.
