Community-Based Birth Support
Born Again Birth Services is shifting toward a more community-based model of support and care, with a primary focus on assisting and serving families planning for home birth. We desire to walk alongside families throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum by offering education, preparation, encouragement, and practical support rooted in our faith and philosophy of birth.
While home birth is our primary focus, our support does not end if birth takes an unexpected turn. If a transfer to the hospital becomes necessary, we are still willing to accompany and support our families through that transition and throughout their hospital birth experience.
We also welcome high-risk families who desire our support in a hospital setting, with hospital-based labor support available for an additional fee. This additional fee allows us to account for the potentially extended length of labor and the increased time and availability required to provide continuous support in a hospital setting.
We serve families throughout Middle and South Georgia and are passionate about building a community where families feel informed, supported, and prepared for the many possibilities that birth can bring.
Our services are intended to complement—not replace—the care of a professional midwife, physician, or other qualified medical provider. We do not provide medical care or make clinical decisions. Instead, we offer education, emotional and physical support, advocacy, and encouragement while families receive appropriate professional care.
